Questions about Pro

Is there a free trial?
The builder and the entire library are free forever — no card, no signup. Pro is only the AI-powered tools (CITE Coach, Prompt Studio) and saved prompts. Waitlist members get first access when it opens, at the founding rate of $29/mo.
What happens to my saved prompts if I cancel?
They stay yours — you can export them before you go, and the free builder keeps working exactly as it does today. You only lose the AI tools and cross-device sync.
Can I expense Pro to my firm?
That's the intent. At $29/mo it sits comfortably inside a normal software reimbursement — the same line as your transcript, e-discovery, or research subscriptions — and you'll get a receipt.
Will the founding rate actually stick?
Yes. Join before Pro opens and your $29/mo is locked for as long as you keep the subscription, even after the standard price settles at $49/mo.
Do the AI tools see my case files?
The site is built local-first and there is no document upload anywhere. The builder runs entirely in your browser; the Pro AI tools work on the prompt text itself — CITE Coach grades the prompt you wrote, Prompt Studio drafts one — which is sent to a server only when you choose to run it, through a provider held to a zero-data-retention agreement, and not stored on our servers. Verifying every output against the record is still your job.

Why charge at all?

Straight answer: the AI features cost real money every time they run, and a free tool that quietly loses money isn't a tool that's around in a year. Charging for the parts that have a per-use cost is what keeps the free parts free — and keeps the lights on for both.
